David Nobay’s new TV show, Recipe to Riches, premiered on Ten last night and just snuck into the top 20 free-to-air shows in 19th place with 616,000 viewers.
The new reality show, in which contestants battle it out to get their products on Woolworths’ shelves, is sponsored by Woolies and features Droga5’s Nobay along with chef Darren Robertson and Carman’s Fine Foods founder Carolyn Creswell (pictured).
News shows – Nine News (1.276 million viewers), Seven News (1.190 million viewers) and Nine’s A Current Affair (1.036 million) – took out the top three programs last night, according to figures from Oztam.
Corsentine: The Magic, The Mystery, The Madness put on a good show for Seven again last night, winning 1.022 million viewers.
Seven took out five of the top 10 spots, with Winners and Losers (1.005 million), Home and Away (975,000) and Today Tonight (946,000) also featuring.
Completing the top 10 was ABC News, (940,000), Big Brother on Nine (838,000) and New Tricks on ABC1 (829,000).
Ten’s Masterchef Australia was the 11th most-watched show, with 814,000 people tuning in, and Nine’s The Great Australian Bake Off was 12th, with an audience of 760,000.
