OMD Perth is on the lookout for a new managing director after it was confirmed that Adam Marshall has been hired by Mindshare as head of trading for Asia Pacific.
Marshall (pictured), who will be based at Mindshare’s regional HQ in Singapore, where he’ll lead implementation planning and trading offering, will take up the new post next month.
He confirmed to B&T that OMD Perth is currently in the process of recruiting his replacement, with the agency expecting to make an announcement in due course.
The move marks a return to the GroupM family for Marshall after he previously helped set up Maxus’ operation in Perth back in 2006, beforemoving stables to OMD in 2010.
Marshall has also previously had trading stints in the UK, with OMD and Initiative.
In May, OMD, along with fellow incumbent Mitchell & Partners, was re-appointed by the West Australian Government for the provision of campaign advertising services for its $33.8m account.
