EXCLUSIVE: GPY&R Brisbane has picked up creative duties for Stadiums Queensland – the Government owned company which manages and markets the major stadia in the Sunshine State.
GPY&R will lead creative with a particular focus on Stadiums Queensland's digital strategy, looking after creative for the likes of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, The Gabba, Suncorp Stadium, Skilled Park and Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast, plus others.
Several agencies were on the shortlist for the work, with GPY&R believed to have beaten off competition from the likes of Junior and JSA Design during the pitch process for the account which is worth in the region of $2 million.
B&T understands that Starcom will look after media buying for Stadiums Queensland while MediaCom, after winning the Queensland Government account recently, will lead media buying duties.
Meanwhile, GPY&R Brisbane is set a launch a new national campaign for Lotto Superdraws in the coming weeks.
The campaign positions a Superdraw is a special occasion and that winning big is like all the good feelings in life rolled into one.
