Earlier this month, The Sun came under scrutiny for its ‘Check ‘em Tuesday’ campaign for breast cancer which featured a topless woman on its front cover.
With the words “Page 3 vs Breast Cancer” The Sun came under fire for using a “highly sexualized” image for such a serious issue.
Founder for Coppafeel, the breast cancer organisation with whom The Sun teamed up with for the campaign, took to The Guardian to explain why she teamed her charity up to The Sun.
