All The Winners Of The 22nd AMY Awards Announced

AIMIA and the digital industry celebrated the outstanding achievements and work produced over the past year at the AMY Awards at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on Friday 15 July.

Throughout the course of the evening, AIMIA presented 27 AMY winners awards to the 123 category finalists and recognised different levels of achievement by announcing 11 highly commended awards.

The 22nd AMY Awards kicked off with comments from AIMIA CEO Jodie Sangster on the importance of the AMY’s within the Australian digital awards landscape.

“The AMY’s are prestigious awards that reflect the high calibre of digital work produced by some of Australia’s brightest and innovative individuals and businesses. Since their inception they have consistently awarded technology and innovation as it transforms the way we live and do business in Australia. This year is no exception and I am honoured to be here for the first time as CEO of AIMIA to reward excellence in our industry.

“There has never been a more important time to celebrate and nurture brilliance in digital as it is taking a leading role in not only the marketing and media industry but across all avenues of public and private sector activity across Australia.”

R/GA Sydney were named as Grand Prix Winner as well as taking out Best Digital Advertising or Communication – Retail and Consumer Goods, for PWC Closed Loop. As one of the judges noting “PWC Close the Loop campaign stood out from the crowd because it integrated the best of data, creative & media to create a compelling campaign that drove audience engagement and more importantly sales results for the client.”
