Network 10 is set to unveil a fourth TV channel this year, according to reports.
While it is unknown what the channel will be called or the type of content that will be showed, B&T understands it’s a move to further cement itself as the leading FTA channel for under-50s.
It is also understood the channel will likely have a broad format, similar to its Peach and Bold channels.
Additional information around the fourth channel is expected to be revealed later this week.
While Nine is Australia’s most-watched network, followed by Seven, it cannot be ignored the difference in size between the three free-to-air broadcasters. And, there’s no denying 10 holds its own with hit shows such as MasterChef, Gogglebox and The Bachelor series.
And, still to come on 10 this year includes new seasons of popular shows The Masked Singer, Survivor and the Bachelor franchise.
