The last dinner party of the season graced channel Nine last night. The second last episode of the season pulled in more than three million viewers.
In the episode, Bec unleashed fury on ex-husband Danny and his potential flame Stephanie for a total TV national average audience of 1,974,000 to bare witness.
Bec, fresh off heartbreak, had even more reason to go into the dinner party furious, when she caught wind of her ex-husband flirting with another contestant. When we say she caught wind, Bec received the information straight from the horses mouth Stephanie, detailing and showing her the messages being exchanged between one another.
When the conversation was finally brought to the table, by Stephanie’s ex-husband Tyson, Bec did not hold back. She used an array of expletives to express her frustration, and even called the pair “dogs”.
As for the other couples, Stella and Philip shared their news of being engaged to the group, Alissa got to confront David after he dumped her at the final vows and Rachel and Steven decided to give their relationship another go.
Away from the drama, Seven’s coverage of the AFL helped the broadcaster come in at fifth on the overall TV ratings. The match between St Kilda and Port Adelaide attracted a total TV national reach of 1,488,000 and an average audience of 437,000.
AFL also dominated Friday’s ratings. And Saturday was topped by the Australian Athletics Championships.
