Unsurprisingly the weddings in the first three episode of Married At First Sight have not resulted in many initial sparks flying. Who would of thought getting married to a complete stranger would equal love at first sight? Possibly the 2.8 million viewers who tuned into episode three on nine overnight.

Or maybe they wanted to be entrenched into the dramas that is reality TV. Nonetheless, there was plenty of drama for the total TV national average audience of 1,590,000 to see when Bec and Danny became the fifth couple to tie the knot.

At 35, Adelaide account manager Bec was looking for a groom to match her energy and banter. To meet this promise the experts paired Bec with 34-year-old real estate agent Danny, who is always down for a laugh.

A match made in heaven right?

Well, Danny read “I’m looking for a Bonnie and Clyde type of love,” from his vows. With that being said, if I ever get locked up in prison, I’d like you to bail me out.”

However, Bec wasn’t a massive fan of the fact that her husband to be was joking around about crime.

She was captured outside the venue sobbing.

The marriage has gotten off on the wrong foot, but following the situation Danny reassured his bride that he is in fact on the show for the right reasons and eventually, Bec did somewhat forgive him. Safe to say the groom has a lot of work to do if he wants to win over his new bride.

Over on Seven the new season of Home And Away was the broadcasters most popular entertainment program. The episode eclipsed a reach of one million onlookers, and had an average of 903,000.

For 10, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here once again passed the one million mark, but fell to twelfth on the ratings. During the program in which 571,000 people tuned in, ex-love island contestant turned podcaster, Matt Zukowski’s time in the jungle came to an end.
