Last night, The Block found itself at the top of the rankings, with an intense episode that saw Kylie return to the show after a cheating scandal involving her husband and Mimi.
The episode raked in a Total TV National Reach of 2,077,000 and a Total TV National Average audience of 1,219,000. The Network Nine show continues to see success across its 20th season.
Tensions were high for the Blockheads overall, with just days left until the homes on Phillip Island are to be completed.
After weeks of speculation surrounding an alleged cheating scandal, Kylie dramatically quit The Block in Monday night’s episode, leaving her husband Brad, and their unfinished house behind her.
Viewers supported her decision to be with her family in Cairns after she caught Brad behaving inappropriately with fellow Blockhead and Kristian’s wife Mimi after the contestants had drinks together to celebrate the end of the week.
“I said some pretty inappropriate comments,” said Brad. “I was flirting with Mimi”.
Kylie was asleep on the couch next to Brad and Mimi when she woke up and heard him tell Mimi that he “would follow her OnlyFans”.
“I deserve so much better,” she said. She was “absolutely sickened” by the situation.
At the end of the episode, Kylie is seen back at the site, with Brad waiting anxiously outside their property.
On Tuesday night’s episode of My Kitchen Rules, mother and son team Caz and Fergus stepped up for their Ultimate Instant Restaurant, where they showed off a six-dish menu. The pair’s concoction scored 62 out of 100. While the duo wasn’t excited about the score, they were relieved at being safe from elimination.
The episode raked in a Total TV National Reach of 1,668,000 for Network Seven.
Over on Channel 10, The Cheap Seats saw a Total TV National Reach of 884,000.
