Nearly 2.8 million of you tuned to Nine’s Married At First Sight overnight as the homestays begun and were treated to yet another drama-filled performance from Gia.

Nine’s ratings behemoth achieved a total TV reach of 2.78 million, an average audience of 1.78 million and a BVOD average of nearly 600,000.

Homestay week involves the couples spending time in their respective partners’ home. This is so the brides and grooms can imagine what their lives could look like in the future and most importantly, for Gia judge each other’s homes.

And that is exactly what Gia did. “Oh, it’s a bit messy,” she said upon entering Scott’s waterfront home.

When in fact, the house was rather quite clean and Gia confessed she was just looking for a problem. So, you can just imagine the stink she kicked up when she found a pink neck pillow in Scott’s wardrobe.

In the end Gia came to the conclusion that she cannot see herself living at Scott’s home because his wardrobe is not big enough for her stuff.

Poor Scott just wanted Gia to appreciate the life and house he had built for himself.

Australian Idol performed as Seven’s most popular entertainment program of the evening. The episode which featured the top 10 perform songs chosen by their famous fans pulled in a reach of 1,512,000 and an average audience of 922,000.

Network 10’s broadcast of Australian Survivor: Redemption continued last night. The show came in at number 21 on the TV rankings thanks to its reach of 692,000 and its average audience of 403,000.
