Comedy legends Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy’s Celebrity Intervention has finally hit the air, reaching 1,553,000 viewers overnight. The show includes the pair roasting their famous friends, as well as each other for all of Seven’s viewers to see.
Carrie Bickmore was the first guest to face the music. In front of a total TV national average audience of 790,000, she was grilled over her “nude” moments, with her own son leading the interrogation.
In the first episode of Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention, Bickmore’s son Ollie was seated in the audience and jokingly confronted her about some questionable social media footage.
“Seeing you dressed as a lifeguard made me want to drown,” he said, referring to footage of Bickmore running along the beach in a Baywatch-esque red swimsuit.
Throughout the first episode there were also guest appearances from Pete Helliar, Tommy Little, and her mum Jennie.
Taking the evening’s top spot for the most watched entertainment program was Nine’s The Floor. The second episode of the season pulled in a total TV national reach of 1,949,000 and a total TV national average audience of 975,000.
Over on 10, another 20 home cooks entered the MasterChef kitchen to compete for 10 aprons on offer. During the episode that had 1,115,000 viewers and an average audience of 660,000, the contestants who failed to secure an learnt they will be given one final chance to cook for the last four aprons tonight.
