Nine’s The Block topped the entertainment stakes of last night’s TV Ratings with a total TV national reach of 2 million and a total TV national average audience of 1.1 million. The only other program that outranked the renovation series was Seven News.
Interestingly though, the show was dominated by drama away from the job sites. Last night, Chantel and Wyatt upset fellow contestants by departing the group meal for the gym. Normal behaviour perhaps, the only problem was the pair left everyone else to clean up.
And it isn’t a first for the avid gym goers. Chantel leaves her oats in the sink most mornings to soak.
Fellow contestants have even labelled their behaviour as “gross”.
Jolene even went as far to say that their behaviour is pure “arrogance”.
This shows that maybe The Block making all the contestants shack up under one roof wasn’t the play. Or was it?
Seven may have topped the ratings with its news program, but it didn’t do very well for viewership on its entertainment shows. The Chase was the most watched with a reach of 1.4 million and an average audience of 670 thousand.
Over on Network 10 Sydney Harbour Cops locked up a reach of 780 thousand and an average audience of 350 thousand.
