Pidgeon claw anyone? (7Now)

My Kitchen Rules has served Seven the TV Ratings crown overnight. The sixth episode of Seven’s hit cooking show cooked up a total TV national reach of 2.2 million people and a total TV national average audience of 1.34 million.

The audience was treated to a divisive menu served by can food stylist and husband Jane and Shane. The pair has been highly critical of the other teams and now it was time for them to demonstrate if they could actually cook.

Unfortunately for the married couple, Jane and Shane’s ambitious fine-dining menu unravelled, sending the team packing from the My Kitchen Rules competition. Meaning, rivals Alisha and Deanne from elimination.

Their down fall was a bold pigeon main course. It was served badly overcooked and dry, the dish fell disastrously short of expectations, sealing their fate in the competition.

This episode edged out Nine’s TV ratings juggernaut, The Block. Monday’s program raked in a national reach of 1.89 million people and an average audience of 1.08 million.
