T2 has signed on Melbourne digital marketing agency, Impressive, to help with its international search engine optimisation campaign.
The partnership has already begun with Impressive achieving a significant uplift in the quality and volume of search traffic and e-commerce transactions across Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe and South West Asia.
T2 engaged Impressive in October 2018 to assist with its international SEO strategy, which was made more challenging by the fact that each country operates its own website.
Comparing website progress from October 2018 to February 2019 against the same period last year, T2’s international websites saw increases of organic traffic ranging from 2.6 per cent to 45.88 per cent across the globe.
Corresponding with the traffic increases, e-commerce conversion rates improved by 12.32 per cent to 43 per cent and, in the case of Singapore, 277.59 per cent.
This produced large increases in transactions and total revenue from all sites involved in the campaign, with the exception of the USA website, which performed similarly to previous years as it had not been hampered by the location issue.
T2 global head of digital and e-commerce, Manik Godhwani (pictured) said: “We came to Impressive wanting an agency who understands international search engine optimization and who could work across multiple global sites.
“Their in-depth understanding of technical issues combined with brand strategy and content production has produced some pleasing results early on.
“We are really excited to be working with Impressive and eager to draw upon their depth of knowledge in this space to further our global presence.”
Founded in March 2016 by former Sensis employee Robert Tadros, Impressive focuses on three key areas for its clients; search engine optimisation, search engine marketing and Facebook advertising campaigns.
Impressive founder and MD Robert Tadros said: “T2 is an amazing Australian success story and it’s an honour to be working with them.
“They have come from humble beginnings and built a fantastic business model, which has enormous global potential. We look forward to a long term partnership with T2.”
