PRIA NSW ‘Speed’ Mentoring Program Back With A Bang In 2016

PRIA NSW ‘Speed’ Mentoring Program Back With A Bang In 2016

After kicking the relaunched mentoring program off in 2015 with a sell-out event, PRIA’s New Emerging Practitioners Group (NEPG) is back in 2016. The mentoring program will kick off with the first “Speed Match Mentoring” event hosted on Wednesday, 8 June 2016 at Weber Shandwick, Sydney.

Change is the only constant. When you graduated from university you probably thought you knew it all, but whether it was last week, last year, or last decade, PR has changed. PRIA’s Mentorship Program helps mentees to develop and fine-tune the skills and knowledge to meet each new challenge with confidence.

Mentorship will make you more valuable to your team, your clients or company, and the profession. It will also keep you interested and interesting.

Being part of the PRIA mentorship program is a six month commitment. However, we are hoping that it will forge a long-term relationship that continues once the official program concludes.

Participation in the mentor program, as a mentor, carries a charge of $100.

The Mentor Program cycle will reopen every six months to help new mentors and mentees get matched through a six monthly speed mentoring launch event. This particular period is for July to December 2016.

Mentors this round hail from:

  • Honner
  • Tomorrowland Group
  • BHP Billiton
  • Independent
  • Recognition PR
  • Horizon Communication Group
  • OPEC Systems
  • Whiteworks Public Relations
  • Woodhill Communication
  • Spectrum Communications & Max Australia
  • Hausmann Communications
  • Transport Sydney Trains
  • Weber Shandwick
