PR Agency Fifty Acres Doubles Size In Six Months Through National Expansion

Strategic communications and engagement agency Fifty Acres has proven its virtual workplace model is a success, doubling in size in just six months across Australia.

Established in 2010 by managing director and Women in Media Awards 2017 winner Jo Scard (pictured above), Fifty Acres works with industry associations, corporates, government agencies and departments, national organisations, and not-for-profits providing government engagement, strategic communications, media relations, marketing, content, advocacy, and PR services.

Over the past few months, the agency has expanded to Queensland, northern New South Wales and Byron Bay, adding to its operational teams in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney and regional Australia.

Scard said the growth of Fifty Acres proves the success of its virtual workplace model, which enables the agency to have broad geographic reach, a low environmental impact, and low overheads for clients

“The fact that we’re flexible to provide on-the-ground advice and assistance, as and where it’s needed, is a key attraction,” she said.

“We have a growing stable of clients across the east coast and see huge scope for opportunities where we’re expanding.”

Scard credited Fifty Acres’ success to the team’s dedication, passion and ability to exceed clients’ expectations.

“We are absolutely committed to being innovative communications experts who build lasting relationships with our clients,” she said.

“The other key factor in our success, which clients have mentioned ever since I founded Fifty Acres in 2010, is that we genuinely care about the work we do.

“Like the clients we work with, Fifty Acres is in the business of undertaking positive work that benefits the community in which we live.”
