NOVA Entertainment has announced the appointment of three key roles in programming and integration.
Shaun Heron (pictured above) has been promoted to Nova 96.9 program director. Heron joined Nova 96.9 as integration and marketing director in 2011. He has extensive radio experience across the key programming, integration, marketing and sales functions.
Brendan Taylor, Nova 96.9 program director, has been promoted to the newly created role of NOVA Entertainment Group program operations director. Taylor will play a key role between the programming and sales teams as well as overseeing network output, talent development and strategic partnerships.
With more than 18 years’ media experience, Taylor joined NOVA Entertainment in 2008 as Nova 100’s assistant program director before replicating that role in Sydney in November 2010. He was then promoted to his current role as program director.
Carlie Millican rises to the position of Nova 96.9’s integration and marketing director. Having spent nine years with the company, Millican has worked closely with Heron as Nova 96.9 integration and marketing manager.
Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment Group program director said: “We are fortunate to have as much great talent off air at NOVA Entertainment as we do on air. Brendan has done a terrific job as Nova 96.9 program director and has made a great contribution to the station’s success. He thoroughly deserves his promotion into operations. Likewise, Shaun lives and breathes Nova. He has played a key role across integration and marketing, working closely with our programming team, and is ready to take the next step into programming. I’m also delighted that Carlie is moving into Shaun’s role, providing NOVA Entertainment with both consistency and stability for 2015.”
Taylor, Heron and Millican will commence in their new roles in January 2015.
