NOVA Entertainment has partnered with Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) and Crown Lager to deliver an experience that is not just racing, showcasing the hottest live music and entertainment, during the 2016 BMW Caulfield Cup Carnival.
NOVA Entertainment and the MRC have partnered for a second year, with premium brand Crown Lager and MRC’s media agency Vizeum coming on board in 2016, to provide guests with access to the best music experience at Caulfield Racecourse.
Peter Colosimo, NOVA Entertainment’s general manager said, “We are looking forward to consolidating our strong relationship with the MRC and Crown Lager through our great talent, passionate audiences and strong music relationships.
“Melbourne is the home of spring racing, and our listeners love a great event, so we’re delighted to be providing a special music experience for racegoers at this premium location.”
Australia’s finest live bands, The Preatures and British India, will perform on Ladbroke’s Guineas Day (Saturday 8 October) while the hottest DJs, Timmy Trumpet and DJ Minx, will entertain race goers during BMW Caulfield Cup Day (Saturday 15 October) on the Crown Lager Live Stage.
Peta Webster, MRC chief commercial officer said, “This year we are re-inventing the Caulfield Cup Carnival experience, with entertainment being at the heart of this. We’re proud to be bringing completely new complementary experiences during the day, not just at day’s end after the main race, and we can offer this to our customers through partnering with great, like-minded brands such as Nova and Crown Lager.”
For the price of general admission, guests will have access to Melbourne’s best food and music experiences, a contemporary fashion precinct, premium champagne lounges and an array of activations designed to relax and recharge. The purpose built Crown Golden Ale Bar, together with the Crown Lager Live Stage, will form a festival precinct with great views of Group 1 racing and the hottest artists and DJs providing the perfect music backdrop.
Tim Ovadia, head of premium brands, Carlton United Breweries said, “The Caulfield Carnival is a premium racing experience that’s about more than just the races. As such, we are proud to be partnering with the MRC to showcase some of Australia’s finest musical talent on the Crown Lager Live Stage.”
The Nova Network will give listeners the opportunity to win VIP tickets to Ladbroke’s Guineas Day as well as exclusive packages, including flights, luxury accommodation, spending money and VIP tickets to BMW Caulfield Cup Day.
Guests will join Nova’s Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small or Jaben Ryan in the Crown Golden Ale Bar for an amazing day of sport, dining and entertainment. Tickets can be won through Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny breakfast show and the Nova Network’s Smallzy Surgery national night show from Monday 12 September.
