Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest public museum organisation, has added Collingwood-based studio, Yoke to its external agency roster alongside long-standing design partner, Clear.
The three year appointment will see Yoke working as Museum Victoria’s lead agency to drive strategic brand projects, communications and marketing campaigns for its experience brands including Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum and Scienceworks.
Clear will retain the scope of work for the commercial side of the organisation; taking the lead on campaigns for IMAX Melbourne and Museum Spaces.
“We really value the work of both Yoke and Clear and we are extremely excited about the mix of talent and expertise we now have on board to strengthen our marketing and communications across our expansive brand portfolio,” said Alex Fisher, Museums Victoria acting senior manager, brand and audience.
Yoke’s managing director, Mehdi Qerim, said that the new appointment represents a proud moment for the agency.
“To be working with such an iconic part of the cultural fabric of Melbourne and the state of Victoria is an amazing opportunity,” Qerim said.
“We’re incredibly thrilled to create meaningful work with such a positive impact behind it. We’d like to thank Museums Victoria for the warm welcome and can’t wait to reveal the first project.”
Established a decade ago, Yoke has grown into a heavyweight creative agency offering branding, design, digital strategy, and web development. It has 17 staff and an enviable client base, which has included Kay & Burton, Charter Keck Cramer, NAB and Drapac Capital Partners.
