For the flurry of foodies headed for the Melbourne Night Noodle Markets this month, Menulog will set up its first-ever ‘At-Home Zone’, where market-goers can sit back, relax and have the food brought to them.
As Australia’s largest online food ordering platform, Menulog will bring some of the benefits of home delivery to the outdoor food festival, including oversized inflatable, illuminated lounges, in-the-zone music, and a dedicated on-ground delivery team to help hungry diners beat the queues at some of the markets’ most popular stands.
Kicking off the first week with menus from Mr Cyclo, Pak Pak Cue by hoy pinoy, The Brulee Cart and Waffle on a Stick, the At-Home Zone will give Melbournians a unique opportunity to taste test Mr Cyclo’s five-spice grilled chicken skewers and Pak Pak Cue’s famous wings, followed by waffle and brulee desserts. Diners can then wash the dishes down with a beverage or two from Watson’s Bay.
Neighbouring the likes of Messina and Mr Miyagi on the top terrace, the area will be transformed what has previously been a grassy picnic-patch into a green oasis amidst the buzzing festival.
Alistair Venn, Menulog managing director said: “We’re incredibly excited to be a part of the Melbourne Night Noodle Markets and to bring a little taste of Menulog to Melbournians’ at this year’s event. Our aim is to make food discovery and delivery exciting, enjoyable and fun for all Australians, and that’s what we wanted to bring to the markets.
“What we love about the Night Noodle Markets is the opportunity it gives people to connect with and enjoy a variety of food from over 25 Australian restaurants. We have the largest network of restaurant partners in Australia, with more than 8,000 food and drink businesses on the platform, and offer customers over 130 different cuisine types for our 2.6 million active customers. Our partnership with Night Noodle Markets is a great fit and one we hope will continue,” concluded Mr Venn.
Menulog’s sponsorship of the Melbourne Night Noodle Markets is the latest in a line of new experiences for both customers and broader Australians this year. For more information, head to Menulog.com.au, download the app or follow Facebook/Menulog or @menulog on Twitter and Instagram.
