MediaCom has announced the appointment of Ben McCallum as group director in activation and investment for MediaCom’s Entertainment Division team.
With more than 11 years of industry experience within agencies based in Australia and The United Kingdom, McCallum joins MediaCom with a wealth of experience from a broad mix of clients including Toyota, Lexus, Qantas, British Airways, Cartier, Heineken, Bacardi and 20th Century Fox. In his previous role at ZenithOptimedia Group, his key responsibilities included ownership of investment output, to review quality of output and to drive best practice from within the investment team.
With McCallum’s tenure effective from Tuesday 21st of April, he will report directly to MediaCom’s chief investment officer, Nicole Turley and will be responsible for leading the activation and investment product for MediaCom’s Entertainment Division (TED) and will also ensure that the content and connection agency translates great thinking into great ideas and value on the ground.
Turley said of the appointment, “I am thrilled to announce that Ben will be joining MediaCom’s activation and investment team based in Sydney. Ben has worked locally and in London across many high profile brands. He will bring experience from a wide range of different sectors, as well as strong leadership and management skills. I am very much looking forward to working with Ben as we move forward into the content and connections space”.

McCallum’s tenure with MediaCom is effective Tuesday 21st of April.
