MediaCom Appoints Group Director For Volkswagen Account

MediaCom appointed Tony Woodward as group director in implementation planning and investment for Volkswagen Group, one of MediaCom’s largest global clients.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Woodward joins MediaCom from previous employer Carat Australia  director where his responsibilities spanned from driving revenue growth within the agency as part of the Woolworths Group, strategic planning, investment and implementation to new business pitches.

He will report directly to MediaCom Sydney’s head of implementation planning and investment, Jane Henderson, and during his tenure, Woodward will oversee the implementation and investment products across MediaCom’s client Volkswagen Group, along with the responsibility to grow and lead the high performing team that currently services the account.

Nicole Turley, MediaCom’s chief investment officer, said of the appointment, “We are very excited to bring Tony on board as he joins us with a wealth of experience across both media owner and agency side. In previous positions, he has worked across large brands including Woolworths, and has previous auto experience working on Peugeot. Tony will lead our implementation and planning product across all channels, whilst building on an already high performing team.

Woodward joins MediaCom on Monday 8th December 2014.
