In China, McDonald’s has released a line of green and red burgers to promote the upcoming Angry Birds Movie.
The ‘Naughty Green Pork Burger’ is a pork patty, egg, lettuce and a ‘mystery sauce’ with jalapenos between two green buns. The ‘Super Red Burger’ is a chicken patty, topped with an egg, lettuce, tomato, fiery pepper mayo and bright red bun.
Food reviewer on website That’s regular series ‘We Eat It’ said “the burger itself wasn’t half bad.
“At first glance, the burger raises some questions. How could a bun that color possibly taste good? Is it possible that its strange hue of green provides the consumer with one full serving of vegetables? (Unfortunately, it does not.)”
