Mattel has launched a new Barbie commercial called “Imagine the Possibilities” encouraging girls to use their imagination and there’s no dream too big to achieve.
The little girls appear as pint-sized professionals—an academic, a vet, a businesswoman, and a men’s soccer coach—offering adorable words of advice to the big kids around them.
According to Barbie’s creator, Ruth Handler: “My whole philosophy of Barbie was that, through the doll, the little girl could be anything she wanted to be. Barbie always represented the fact that a woman has choices,”
Mattel is jumping on girl-empowerment advertising bandwagon, and we’re loving it!
