MashUp Nabs Karen Spear As General Manager

Retail strategy and design consultancy MashUp announced the appointment of one of Australia’s most recognised experts in shopper marketing, Karen Spear, as General Manager.

With over 14 years experience in retail and shopper marketing, Karen joins MashUp from The Zoo Republic where she was Director of Shopper Marketing. Prior to that she was the Australia and New Zealand head of POPAI, the global industry association for shopper marketing and marketing at retail.

Karen’s appointment will help drive this growth. Karen will be based in MashUp’s Sydney office.

Based in Sydney and with divisions in London, Chicago and Singapore, MashUp consults to retailers to define their customer audience, map out customer journeys and develop unique retail experiences across all touch points. Clients include National Australia Bank, Payce, Smile Dental, The Cosmetic Institute and Laser Clinics Australia, Rimmel, Suncorp and Space Furniture.
