March One Appoints New Senior Account Manager

Independent ad agency March One has appointed a fresh face to the team, with Melanie Tozer to reinforce its mission to put humans first as a senior account manager.

Tozer (pictured above), an up-and-coming talent from New Zealand, will align her extensive experience in FMCG marketing with March One, having worked on accounts for Bunnings and popular reality TV series The Block, Mitre 10, and later, Samsung here in Sydney.

March One founder and managing director, Greg Bechly, said Tozer’s appointment to the position of senior account manager will expand the agency’s marketing expertise and client liaison capabilities to ensure its continues to deliver and execute creative and compelling campaigns for its much-loved client.

“Melanie brings experience just as importantly [as] her the passion and shared values that make our team unstoppable,” Bechly added.

March One has been successful in guiding its clients to the forefront of the charity sector, raising over $83 million for Australia’s most respected not-for-profit organisations including the Cancer Council, UNICEF, UNHCR and the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

“Creating relationships between not-for-profits and donors that are reciprocal, rewarding and connected is the aim of our human-centred approach, and it is imperative to the survival of the charity sector both in Australia and internationally,” Bechly said.

Commenting on her appointment, Tozer said she is delighted to be joining such a tight-knit team which shares the aim of helping charities make the world a better place.

“Being passionate about the projects you work on is how you truly create inspiring and motivating ideas,” she said.

“Being given the opportunity to create awareness for real-life issues is something I can be thankful for and I hope to make a difference to this already strong team at March One.”
