Marcel Sydney Appoints Bridget Jung As Digital Creative Director

Marcel Sydney’s executive creative director Scott Huebscher has appointed Bridget Jung as the agency’s digital creative director.

Jung becomes the most senior creative appointment at Marcel Sydney under Huebscher, who was named as the agency’s ECD by founder and chairman David Nobay. Huebscher is formally creative director at Leo Burnett where he helped take the agency to the #1 creative ranking in Australia and also #1 creative network in Australia and Asia Pacific in 2014.

Jung arrives as Marcel Sydney adds new projects from global client Tiger Beer, as well as new digital assignments from Parmalat.

Originally from Brisbane, Bridget Jung is a seasoned creative director with more than 20 years experience. She is formerly chief creative officer at DigitasLBi Paris, which was named Digital Agency of the Year.

She is a highly respected speaker, author and awards judge across the world’s top-level industry forums. Her own creative work has been for clients including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Lancôme, Nissan, Renault, Dacia, Peugeot, Evian, Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, La Poste, Wonderbra, Nestlé and Mattel.

Huebscher said, “It doesn’t take a genius to know that when you have the opportunity to hire the former CCO of Digitas Paris on to your team, you do it.  I really want to do things differently here — and having a brilliant digital creative leader is crucial.”

Speaking on her new role, Jung said, “Having worked in France, Marcel Paris has always been an agency that I’ve admired so I’m thrilled to be part of the team here in Sydney. Scott has a very clear and ambitious creative vision and it’s great to join an agency that puts digital thinking at the heart of integrated advertising.”
