Sydney PR agency, Klick Communications, has announced a raft of new partner wins for 2015, with ice cream Homer Hudson, eyewear juggernaut Luxottica (Sunglass Hut), luxury health retreat Golden Door and Australian plastic surgeon Dr Jeremy Hunt, joining the independent agency.
“We’ve had a strong klickstart to the year,” said Kim McKay, director and founder of Klick Communications.
“We make a point of only working with those who share our values for creativity, bravery and integrity, and those partners joining us today tick those boxes and then some.”
The partner additions coincide with the announcement of two appointments – Neil Collins as head of digital and Alex Optiz as communications specialist.
“With Klick’s award-winning reputation in social media, Neil will be a fantastic addition to the team. He joins us fresh from Fox Sports, where he helped lead marketing delivery across the business. In previous roles, Neil helped to engineer the social strategies at Vodafone, ING Direct and set up PPR’s social team.
“We’re also thrilled to welcome Alex into the fold, who has a decade of industry experience across entertainment and lifestyle. She’s managed campaigns for clients including Hilton Hotels, Future Music Festival and White Ribbon Australia.
“It’s actually quite fitting to have Neil, as a digital thought leader, and Alex, a seasoned expert in earned media, join at Klick the same time. They reflect the balance of Klick’s offering – equal parts social and traditional, mixed together with our trademark insight-led creative thinking.”
Recent award wins for the agency include 2014 B&T Women in Media (Kim McKay) and B&T 30 Under 30 (Margarita Peker).
