PPR has appointed experienced communications specialist Julie Kushnir to the role of senior account director in Adelaide.
Kushnir joins PPR with an extensive and impressive career in marketing and communications. Most recently she was responsible for communications and stakeholder engagement for Celsus, the consortium responsible for the finance, design, construction, commissioning and ongoing operational management of the (new) Royal Adelaide Hospital.
She also has extensive experience in advertising, having spent many years in senior account director and group account director roles in both local Adelaide and leading national agencies. Additionally, her experience spans media planning and buying, publishing and government, in senior strategic marketing and communications roles including contract management of the SA Government’s master media contract, within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
In welcoming Julie, PPR CEO Michael Pooley said her experience and passion for communication made her a natural choice.
“Adelaide is an important market for PPR and with Julie’s appointment, we know she will both drive business growth and support our team on-the-ground to ensure their professional development,” he said.
“Julie has broad experience in FMCG, the alcohol sector, brand development/management, stakeholder engagement, crisis and issues management, and media planning and buying, and is arguably one of the most connected people in South Australia.”
“We are thrilled that she has joined PPR and know that under her direction the Adelaide team and business will thrive,” he said.
Kushnir said she was excited to join the PPR group, acutely aware of the potential of PPR Adelaide and to be part of a broader national team of market-leading professionals.
“PPR has a unique proposition in having a truly national footprint with teams that understand the communities in which they live. I’m looking forward to working with the talented, committed Adelaide team, PPR’s existing clients, and also to identifying new client partners, especially in this period of growth and potential change for PPR South Australia,” she said.
Ms Kushnir will work closely with PPR’s ANZ leadership team and market leaders from across Australia and New Zealand.
