media heads are widely panning this morning’s News Corp front pages which Equated the ABC with ISIS. It’s the talk of the media town.
The Twittersphere had a field day with this morning’s News Corp publication made the link that the ABC was supporting ISIS by having Zaky Mallah on the most recent Q&A.
What disgraceful front pages the @theheraldsun and @couriermail have – to mix the ABC with ISIS is a disgrace #auspol

@couriermail that front page is deeply offensive and upsetting to me and I’m guessing many other good people who work at the ABC. — Dea Clark (@DeaClark) June 23, 2015

After being involved with 90 editions of The Chaser newspaper, I have surrendered the right to be offended by any tabloid front page. — Dom Knight (@domknight) June 24, 2015
I think the Courier Mail wins the award for most …evocative… front page today. A bit disappointed in the Tele’s effort TBH.

It’s appalling because it mischievously suggests the ABC supports terrorism. And it’s a lie. And lies need to be called out #auspol

Just quietly, I think News defamed every person who works for the ABC. Suspect they’d make enough to buy News if they bothered suing.
