Hotels.com, online accommodation booking website, has appointed Grey Group Singapore as the new creative agency to oversee its account for the Asia-Pacific region.
Hotels.com is part of Expedia Inc, the parent company to a global portfolio of leading consumer travel brands and one of the largest online travel companies in the world. Currently, the brand is one of the leading online providers of hotel accommodation, offering booking services across international chains, all-inclusive resorts, bed & breakfasts and local favourites.
Grey Group Singapore will build on the existing brand equity and continue to establish the Hotels.com brand in the region. The partnership will see the agency handling TV, digital and social media campaigns across six key markets – Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. The account will encompass brand planning & strategy, creative design as well as development of a full-scale brand campaign to fuel business growth for the Hotels.com brand in Asia Pacific.
“Hotels.com is a popular online brand with one of the widest selections of accommodation on the net. We are thrilled to be given this opportunity to partner with them and to work closely with the brand to enable consumers to find the perfect stay for their selected destination,” said Subbaraju Alluri, area director and CEO, Grey Group Singapore & GREYnJ United.
Abhiram Chowdhry, vice president and managing director APAC for the Hotels.com brand said: “Grey Group Singapore demonstrated great understanding of our business during the pitch process. We are excited by their innovative ideas and believe this long-term partnership will lead to some great results for our brand and business. We can’t wait to see the ideas come to life.”
