Cairns Crocodiles Presented by Pinterest has extended the deadline for its Topics in the Tropics submissions to Friday 13 November 2026, following an influx of requests from industry professionals seeking more time to submit their ideas.
The extension gives creatives, marketers, brand leaders and industry professionals across Asia-Pacific and beyond an additional two weeks to pitch session ideas for the festival’s 2027 program, which will take place from 25–27 May at the Cairns Convention Centre.

Pippa Chambers, content director at Cairns Crocodiles, said the response reflected growing enthusiasm for the festival and its 2027 program.
“We’ve had so many requests for an extension, and it’s brilliant to see the level of support for Crocs and just how many people want to be involved next year,” Chambers said.
“We want to hear from voices across Asia-Pacific, brand leaders, marketers and wildly creative minds with bold ideas and fresh perspectives. As a result, we’re thrilled to give everyone a little more time to get their very best pitches in.”
