EatFirst Put Women At Centre Of Plate For International Women’s Day

This year, the EatFirst team will be working with an incredible line up of all female suppliers to celebrate International Women’s Day in every state.

For our incredible customers, we are pleased to have partnered nationally with Ashleigh Whittaker and her SnackProud team in supplying International Women’s Day snack boxes containing a mix of savoury and sweet snacks to celebrate in style.

International Women’s Day recognises a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality and this year will be celebrated across the world on 8th March 2021.

For the corporate calendar, International Women’s Day is about supporting women in business including our colleagues, business owners, managers and mentors and all that they are striving to achieve.

This year’s global theme has been named, “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”. This year, for International Women’s Day, the team at EatFirst are leading their industry in this year’s celebrations.

Proudly, each box comes with a postcard linking to a range of webinar events organised by the IWW organisation and with each box purchased, EatFirst and SnackProud will donate 8 snacks to Woman’s Refuge, Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre.

Markus Albert, Managing Director at EatFirst said, “acknowledging this day and celebrating the contribution of the incredible females in your life both in business and in personal life is so important.”

“EatFirst wanted to actively contribute to the celebrations this year and give back wherever we could, working with Business Owner Ashleigh Whittaker was a great way for us to highlight the incredible suppliers available on the EatFirst platform.”

“We have corporate catering partners in most states across Australia that offer delicious and healthy options through the EatFirst ordering platform. For International Women’s Day, we are proud to be working with some of our female-led catering businesses.”

“The passion that these women have put into their products is just the tip of the iceberg of the dedication and commitment they have proven across last year since the pandemic hit. Everyone in our industry has gone through a very tough time and had to prove their resilience. Many conversations with them during that time have shown though that they kept up with such great leadership, positive mindset and inspiration.”
