Global fresh produce giant Driscoll’s will take to the stage at Cairns Crocodiles, presented by Pinterest, with chief marketing officer Jiunn Shih confirmed as a speaker for 2026.
Shih, who joined Driscoll’s in September 2025 as its first-ever global CMO, is leading the transformation of the business into a more consumer-centric, brand-led organisation across key markets including the Americas, EMEA, Asia and Oceania.
With a career spanning some of the world’s most recognised consumer brands, Shih brings deep experience in building global demand and driving growth at scale. Prior to Driscoll’s, he served as chief marketing, innovation and sustainability officer at Zespri International, where he played a pivotal role in turning kiwifruit into one of the fastest-growing fruit categories globally, expanding into more than 50 markets and significantly strengthening brand equity.
“Jiunn is firmly among the pick of the bunch in what is now a jam-packed agenda of genuinely impressive brands and innovators doing berry interesting things,” said Pippa Chambers, content director of Cairns Crocodiles.
“What’s particularly compelling about his perspective is how he’s navigating the challenge of turning what are traditionally seen as commodities into brands people genuinely care about.”
Earlier roles at Unilever and L’Oréal saw him lead major brand and innovation programmes across Latin America, Asia and Europe, shaping his perspective on how global brands can connect with consumers in meaningful, culturally relevant ways.
At Cairns Crocodiles, Shih is expected to share insights on modern brand building, consumer engagement and the role of marketing in driving value and growth within the rapidly evolving food and sustainability landscape.
His addition further strengthens an already impressive line-up of global marketing leaders set to take the stage at the three-day festival in May.
