Fast growing digital creative agency G Squared has opened an office in Brisbane to service existing clients and drive new business across the state.
The investment marks the first major expansion for the three year old agency which was founded by 2015 Anthill and B&T 30 Under 30 winners George Pappas and George Photios.
The G Squared Brisbane office will be managed by Michael Vanderhelm, the former national marketing and operations manager of retailer My Baby Warehouse.
Since it launched at the end of 2012, Pappas and Photios have grown the agency working across digital strategy, web design and development, community management and social media. It was the first Australian agency to offer an out of hours social media management service staffed out of its local office and clients include Ray White, Colliers, Mitsubishi Motors, Peter’s of Kensington, Alcatel OneTouch and Monash University.
Speaking about the new office, Photios said, “Brisbane offers some exciting opportunities for us and we’ve been looking at establishing a presence there for a while.
“We have some longstanding client relationships and are eager to build on that in 2016, in addition to attracting new business. In Michael we have someone that is familiar with our business and understands the Brisbane market very well. We are delighted to have him on board to spearhead the operations.
“The past 12 months have been one of significant growth for G Squared and in addition to opening in Brisbane we have some new ventures that will launch next year.”
