At the DAZN Media+ Upfront it was revealed that Fox Sports and Kayo SPORTS, has been united under one Kayo SPORTS banner.
The evolution combines Fox Sports’ three decades of authority, journalism, production and sporting voices with Kayo SPORTS’ digital reach, fan connection and streaming experience.
As part of the transition, Fox Footy, Fox Cricket and Fox League will become Kayo Footy, Kayo Cricket and Kayo League, while all other Fox Sports channels will become Kayo SPORTS. While the names evolve, the talent, passion, insight, quality and commitment to fans that have made Fox Sports a central part of Australian sporting culture will remain.

Building on the 2026 seasons, in 2027, Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel will continue to be the only place to watch every AFL and NRL home-and-away game, live, with no ad-breaks during play, 4K coverage for select matches and the world-class commentary and production.
Kayo SPORTS’ Summer of the Century is already underway, delivering the longest Australian cricket summer yet. With exclusive live coverage of South Africa, England and India, alongside the New Zealand Test series, every ball of the BBL and WBBL, and every over of the landmark 150th Test at the MCG, Kayo SPORTS will be there for every moment of the cricket calendar.
The action continues on the track and in 2027, Kayo SPORTS will continue to stream and broadcast every Formula 1 and Supercars practice, qualifying session and race available live and on demand.
At DAZN Media+ Upfront, Kayo SPORTS revealed it had as renewed its MotoGP partnership into the next decade. The partnership, which is the longest running partnership between MotoGP and a broadcaster in the world, will extend beyond thirty years with the new deal, ensuring every MotoGP practice, qualifying session and race remains live on Kayo SPORTS, including the Australian MotoGP which welcomes a new home in Adelaide in 2027.
Also announced on the evening, Kayo SPORTS has extended its agreement with the America’s Cup to bring every moment of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup to Australian fans. The Cup will see Team Australia return to the competition for the first time in almost three decades, with the dream trio of Olympic gold medallist and two-time World Sailor of the Year Tom Slingsby, three-time America’s Cup winner Glenn Ashby, and navigator from Australia’s famous 1983 victory, Grant Simmer, leading the challenge against current Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand.
Kayo SPORTS will continue to take a swing at golf after it also announced an extension to its long-standing partnership with the PGA TOUR, ensuring golf fans can enjoy every event of the season. On top of this, subscribers can enjoy all the men’s majors, the Australian Open, the BMW Australian PGA Championship and the DP World Tour, as well as the Women’s Australian Open and Australian WPGA Championship.

The 2027 season will be a history-making one for rugby league, with the Perth Bears entering the NRL. As a result an additional game will be added to every round, taking the schedule to nine matches each weekend – all available on Kayo SPORTS.
The season will launch in Las Vegas, with Kayo League on the ground to bring fans closer to the build-up ahead of the opener at Allegiant Stadium.
In the AFL, Western Australia and South Australia will renew their rivalry in February when they meet in Perth for AFL Origin, live on Kayo Footy.
To sit alongside the AFL, and Kayo SPORTS and DAZN’s commitment to supporting pathways, in 2027, the AFL’s new Sydney Football League ‘Match of the Round’ will also be available to stream live on Kayo Freebies.
Supporting Kayo SPORTS’ live coverage of the AFL and NRL is a line-up of experts delivering analysis, opinion and entertainment. Shows including NRL 360, AFL 360, The Late Show with Matty Johns, Face To Face, Bounce, Midweek Tackle, First Crack and On The Couch will continue to keep fans connected to the stories behind the sport.
The stories from the world of racing will continue to be delivered by MotorRacing 360, hosted weekly by Jess Yates and News24’s Paul Murray, with Supercars legend Mark Skaife.
For US sports fans, Kayo SPORTS’ ESPN agreement has been continued to bring the world’s biggest athletes and leagues to Australian screens, including the NBA, NFL, MLB, WNBA and NHL. Closer to home, the NBL and WNBL are also available through ESPN on Kayo SPORTS.
Combat sports fans can also continue to enjoy the best from inside the ring and the Octagon on Kayo SPORTS, including No Limit Boxing, Matchroom fights in conjunction with DAZN, and UFC Pay-Per-Views.
