At the DAZN Media+ Upfront it was revealed that Fox Sports and Kayo SPORTS, has been united under one Kayo SPORTS banner.

The evolution combines Fox Sports’ three decades of authority, journalism, production and sporting voices with Kayo SPORTS’ digital reach, fan connection and streaming experience.

As part of the transition, Fox Footy, Fox Cricket and Fox League will become Kayo Footy, Kayo Cricket and Kayo League, while all other Fox Sports channels will become Kayo SPORTS. While the names evolve, the talent, passion, insight, quality and commitment to fans that have made Fox Sports a central part of Australian sporting culture will remain.

“$1 billion annual investment in sports”

“Our $1 billion annual investment in sports rights and production is what enables us to bring Australians an unrivalled breadth and depth of sport, while also delivering value well beyond the screen through grassroots sport, community programs and pathways for the next generation,” said Adam Howarth, Foxtel Group executive director of commercial, sport.

“In 2027, Kayo SPORTS will bring fans an extraordinary line-up of live sport, with more of the biggest competitions, teams and moments Australians love, all in one place. The scale of that offering, combined with the quality of the viewing experience and world-class production from Fox Sports, is what defines the value of KayoSPORTS. It’s a proposition that is uniquely Australian, but now backed by the global reach, expertise and ambition of DAZN.”

Adam Howarth.

Building on the 2026 seasons, in 2027, Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel will continue to be the only place to watch every AFL and NRL home-and-away game, live, with no ad-breaks during play, 4K coverage for select matches and the world-class commentary and production.

Kayo SPORTS’ Summer of the Century is already underway, delivering the longest Australian cricket summer yet. With exclusive live coverage of South Africa, England and India, alongside the New Zealand Test series, every ball of the BBL and WBBL, and every over of the landmark 150th Test at the MCG, Kayo SPORTS will be there for every moment of the cricket calendar.

The action continues on the track and in 2027, Kayo SPORTS will continue to stream and broadcast every Formula 1 and Supercars practice, qualifying session and race available live and on demand.

At DAZN Media+ Upfront, Kayo SPORTS revealed it had as renewed its MotoGP partnership into the next decade. The partnership, which is the longest running partnership between MotoGP and a broadcaster in the world, will extend beyond thirty years with the new deal, ensuring every MotoGP practice, qualifying session and race remains live on Kayo SPORTS, including the Australian MotoGP which welcomes a new home in Adelaide in 2027.

Also announced on the evening, Kayo SPORTS has extended its agreement with the America’s Cup to bring every moment of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup to Australian fans. The Cup will see Team Australia return to the competition for the first time in almost three decades, with the dream trio of Olympic gold medallist and two-time World Sailor of the Year Tom Slingsby, three-time America’s Cup winner Glenn Ashby, and navigator from Australia’s famous 1983 victory, Grant Simmer, leading the challenge against current Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand.

Kayo SPORTS will continue to take a swing at golf after it also announced an extension to its long-standing partnership with the PGA TOUR, ensuring golf fans can enjoy every event of the season. On top of this, subscribers can enjoy all the men’s majors, the Australian Open, the BMW Australian PGA Championship and the DP World Tour, as well as the Women’s Australian Open and Australian WPGA Championship.

“Raising the bar even higher”

The 2027 season will be a history-making one for rugby league, with the Perth Bears entering the NRL. As a result an additional game will be added to every round, taking the schedule to nine matches each weekend – all available on Kayo SPORTS.

The season will launch in Las Vegas, with Kayo League on the ground to bring fans closer to the build-up ahead of the opener at Allegiant Stadium.

In the AFL, Western Australia and South Australia will renew their rivalry in February when they meet in Perth for AFL Origin, live on Kayo Footy.
