Tasmanian cider brand Mercury Hard Cider has taken home bronze at the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards in London.
The awards set the standard globally for quantifying the value of design investment, with winners clearly evidencing why investment in design is a sound commercial decision.
With a uniquely rigorous judging process, the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards are internationally recognised for the quality and strength of evidence winners must provide to support their case for design effectiveness.
Judged by leading business figures from companies including Lego, PepsiCo, Google and Phillips, winning a DBA Design Effectiveness Award is no mean feat.
Margaret Nolan creative director and co-founder of Denomination – the Aussie design agency that was tasked with the challenge of reinvigorating the declining cider brand back (owned by Carlton & United Breweries) in 2014 – said winning a DBA Design Effectiveness Award is incredibly humbling given the calibre of international entrants in its category.
“For us, it validates the power of design to transform the fortunes of our clients, along with a very positive ROI,” he said.
