Creative and marketing industries have rallied to do their part for small businesses who are struggling, creating a new platform launching today called SmallBizHelp.io.

Experts are predicting many small businesses in Australia and worldwide across a breadth of industries could be the first to suffer during this time of COVID-19 uncertainty.

The creative and marketing industries have rallied to do their part for small businesses who are struggling, creating a new platform launching today called SmallBizHelp.io, offering a trusted collective of experts and services to help guide businesses through this COVID-19 world.

The brainchild of Peter Brennan of branding & design agency, Electric+Analog, this concept evolved from a place of empathy: “So many businesses are so reliant on the physical; people walking past or ‘knowing’ it’s there before people choose to visit. In this new world of social distancing, isolation and encouragement to stay indoors, there’s no doubt businesses of all sizes are already suffering and experiencing huge losses and this will only continue as further restrictions come into place.”

SmallBizHelp.io features eight small, trusted and independent creative and marketing agencies who can support in helping physical businesses thrive in a digital world at lightning speed, whilst also creating consumer interest and awareness for businesses. This agency collective will be able to service small businesses across Australia and the UK, as well as those in other countries.

Each agency and consultancy has a different skill set with areas including branding & design (Electric+Analog), website design & development (Kindleman), digital marketing (Kim Does Marketing), PR and communications (Neon Black), video content and animation (Elastic Studios), digital experience design and development (Cypha), media buying (Kaimera) and specialist e-commerce websites (Charger).

“There’s truly strength in numbers both in the community as well as in business. As a creative industry, all of the eight agencies banded together to develop a series of creative solutions to determine how we can best support small businesses who are struggling,” commented Mr Brennan.

“We wanted to use our unique skills and talents to say ‘We’re here with you’ to small businesses and support them through this unprecedented time with discounted rates for a range of services. After all, as small businesses ourselves, we understand the unique set of challenges that has come with this tough period affecting people worldwide,” says Mr Brennan.

Businesses will simply need to visit the SmallBizHelp.io website where they will be able to review the full list of services and reach out to the business that services the area where they require support. This platform aims to support small business using a high value, low margin strategy.

“Whether you require a new brand or logo, a complete digital marketing strategy, a suite of great new content or a great website to ensure you don’t miss an opportunity, SmallBizHelp.io is here to offer support and allow small businesses to reach a much wider network of shoppers and consumers,” concluded Mr Brennan.
