Cartoon Network Toon Machine, an interactive indoor mega structure, is set to make its Asia Pacific debut in Australia putting kids firmly in control … of their parents.
This contraption is a modern twist on the classic “claw crane” arcade game familiar to generations of kids, and is available in Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne for families to experience during the upcoming school holidays.
Toon Machine will be heavily supported with an on-air, online and print advertising campaign, as well as a PR and social media campaign, in the lead up to the event.
The activation was previously in Brazil.
“Nothing like this has ever been seen before in Australia. Cartoon Network Toon Machine offers an experience like no other – set to entertain the whole family during the school holidays,” said Robi Stanton, vice president of sales and marketing at Turner International Asia Pacific. “Above all, we know that kids will love turning the tables and being in complete control of their parents.”
Toon Machine is a hands-on opportunity for empowered kids to engage, connect and interact with the Cartoon Network brand. The event also serves as a platform to launch Cartoon Network’s brand new original comedy series Clarence before its official on-channel premiere on October 6.
“Cartoon Network is synonymous with fun – having fun, being fun and promoting fun – and we have provided our loyal fans with an exclusive place to do just that,” said Stanton. “Australian-made and constructed to the highest safety standards, Toon Machine will be a truly unforgettable experience that Cartoon Network is incredibly excited to offer.”
