Bulla Gets Melty With New Brand Platform Via Kerfuffle

Bulla Dairy Foods is leaning into Aussie childhood nostalgia with a new brand platform celebrating the everyday moments and simple pleasures of life, marking the first work for the dairy brand by creative agency Kerfuffle.

Dubbed ‘Life’s Fulla with Bulla’, the platform represents a reset for the Australian-owned brand, spanning positioning, identity and communications across its portfolio.

The campaign centres on the small moments that make life feel fuller, with a particular focus on childhood memories, summer days and, naturally, ice cream melting down your hand.

Bulla head of marketing Daria Kargopoltseva said the platform was designed to build on the brand’s existing place in Australian households while giving it fresh relevance.

“For many, Bulla has been part of Australian life for generations. This is about building on everything people already love about our brand, while giving it a fresh energy and relevance for the future,” she said.

Kerfuffle chief creative officer Josh Stephens said the creative drew on the nostalgia of growing up in Australia, when enjoying life was the priority.

“Bulla has always been an iconic Aussie brand, loved by generations. Our job was to remind people why they love it,” he said.

“We wanted to tap into a sense of Aussie childhood – where enjoying life was the number one priority. And there’s nothing more enjoyable than a cracking summer’s day in your local neighbourhood, getting up to a bit of mischief with a Bulla ice-cream melting down your hand.”
