Authentic Entertainment has promoted Michila Macleod to the role of Sales Director for Victoria.
With an impressive resume working with some of Australia’s most popular media properties, the ex-group sales manager brings a wealth of outstanding experience and expertise to her new role.
“Michila’s media experience across multiple channels, her passion for our business, and her strong connections within the Melbourne market make her the perfect person to lead our Victorian sales operation,” said Danika Johnston, Authentic Entertainment’s national sales director.
“Michila will define our commercial strategy and ensure that Authentic Entertainment plays a bigger role with our agency partners and clients. She also has a remit to lead and grow our Melbourne-based team, starting immediately.”
Joining Authentic Entertainment (then MCM Media) in 2012, Michila joined from the BBC in the UK where she worked on their prominent food portfolio across print and digital (including Good Food, Delicious and Olive magazines).
Ahead of her time in the UK, Michila worked with Bauer (then ACP Magazines) working in the key account team for L’Oréal, before moving in to the mass women’s and lifestyle division, working with some of their most iconic titles, such as Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, and Cosmopolitan.
July marks an exciting month for the recently revealed Authentic Entertainment (who merged MCM Media and Igloo to become Authentic Entertainment) with global creative force, Jamie McTavish, returning to Australia to join the business as creative director.
