Authentic Entertainment Appoints Red Agency For PR

Media, entertainment and production company, Authentic Entertainment, has appointed Red Agency as its public relations partner following a pitch process.

The appointment comes as Authentic Entertainment seeks to increase the presence of its portfolio of brands, which include some of Australia’s biggest entertainment properties.

Following their recent re-launch as an idea-centric content-driven business, Authentic Entertainment has appointed Red Agency to build the communities around its brands and generate fame around its brand partnerships. Authentic Entertainment connects with over 10 million entertainment lovers each month with brands including Take 40, Vevo, Live at the Chapel and The Hot Hits.

The business has an ambitious growth plan which promises more content-driven client partnerships like the recent Rebel Beats and Take 40 app and more strategic alliances like the recent collaboration with Fremantle, Seven and NOVA for the launch of Radio X Factor.

With the recent appointment of globally-awarded Creative Director Jamie McTavish to the business and five new products in development, there promises to be much to talk about in the coming months.

Strategy and marketing director Jonathan Hopkins said, “Part of our mantra at Authentic Entertainment is to work with the best people and Red Agency are the most awarded PR business in Australia. Working with Red, we look forward to shaking things up for our own Authentic brand and our premium entertainment brands alongside new products hitting the market later this year.”

Red Agency is charged with increasing engagement and connecting audiences with some of Australia’s most iconic entertainment institutions. The Agency will handle an ongoing strategic public relations program to help drive more consumers to engage with Authentic’s content platforms.

James Wright, managing director of Red Agency, said: “Authentic Entertainment is one of most innovative businesses in the entertainment industry and this is a great opportunity for us to deliver some very cool and high-impact campaigns. Working with some of Australia’s best-loved brands that produce great content every day, delivered by some of the hottest talent in the industry, is something the team can’t wait to get started on.”

Authentic Entertainment’s operations are split between Sydney and Melbourne.
