Applications Open for Comms Council 2015 Grad Program

The search has begun for the next generation of talent for the marketing communications industry with applications for The Communications Council’s 2015 Graduate Program now open.

Recruiting on behalf of member agencies in NSW and VIC, the graduate program provides successful applicants with the holistic base training, placement experience and industry contacts to help launch a career in an account service or planning role within an Australian advertising or public relations agency.

A review of the program for 2015 has delivered more accessible application options for graduates with the development of a new app. Successful applicants will also experience a more diversified industry induction, involving sitting the new internationally certified IPA Foundation Certificate and gaining access to a broad range of industry seminars led by Industry Member Councils.

Margaret Zabel, CEO of The Comms Council said: “Recruiting and developing Australia’s next generation of industry talent is one of the top priorities for our members, which is what attracted more than 40 leading agencies to come on board last year.”

“We are looking for problem solvers and excellent communicators with a passion for creativity and people. Running for more than 30 years, the program has become a popular launch pad for graduates hoping to enter the industry. We receive a high volume of applications each year, so it is important that you consider the entry tips on our website carefully to ensure your application stands out. Good luck!”

Applications close on 29th October, 2014, with information nights running in Sydney and Melbourne on 15th October.
