APN Outdoor’s newly digitised Military Rd overpass, a conversion from two highly sought-after static billboards, has been transformed to house two Elite Screens, presiding over the busy stretch of road, facilitating over 3.1 million gross contacts each month.
The catchment of the sites extends from the northern beaches and Manly, through The Spit and nto the Mosman Council area, covering some of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs.
The two screens have been engineered to the highest quality with the ability to take advantage of the unique attributes of Digital Outdoor; immediacy, creative flexibility and technological interaction and will maintain the 10 metre x 2.5 metre size of the preceding static sites.
Both screens engage a state of the art resolution, which mark the 1st and 2nd of this quality, for any roadside digital billboard in Australia (6.67 millimetre pitch). The market leading clarity of these sites coupled with their iconic location, lift Military Rd’s Elite Screens to a remarkable callibre of digital signage, in a geographic area not been previously exposed.
APN Outdoor’s CEO Richard Herring commented on the development, “It’s been an exciting year at APN Outdoor, especially in the Digital Outdoor arena where things have truly gone from strength to strength.
“The conversion of the Military Rd overpass and the quality of the new Elite Screens housed here marks an impressive and defining move for Digital Outdoor in this country and I am very pleased that APN Outdoor is leading the charge.”
Throughout 2015, APN Outdoor have demonstrated an enduring commitment to leadership and pioneering of digital outdoor across the Tasman, announcing ongoing developments across their Elite Screen, Transit Technology, XtrackTV and Airport portfolios that have been enthusiastically embraced by media agencies and advertisers alike.
