A video has surfaced of an Al Jazeera journalist being shot at and narrowly missing a bullet while reporting on the deadly Gaza Boarder protests yesterday.
The international correspondent for Al Jazeera, Hoda Abdel-Hamid, can be seen looking around at the unfolding situation when a blast goes off behind her.

Abdel-Hamid, who was clad in a bullet-proof vest and helmet, quickly hides behind the camera for protection.
The journalist then posted a second piece of footage to her Twitter account, which shows tear gas falling to the ground from a drone and landing just a few feet away from her and other cameramen.
Alongside the footage, Abdel-Hamid wrote, “Targeting journalists won’t make the Gaza problem go away.

Adding, “This happened while away from the fence and no one around us was throwing stones or doing anything else… people were sitting, watching from afar while trying to keep safe.
“But there was nowhere to be safe, neither by the fence or away from it.”
Abdel-Hamid was covering the Palestinian/Israeli tensions which severely escalated yesterday when the US formally opened its embassy in Jerusalem, leading to the death of almost 60 Palestinian protesters.
