I grew up running several areas of a small family owned print business before starting a 4 year career at Coca-Cola. My corporate career expanded to IT Recruitment in London for 2 years, then in 2000 to Silicon Valley where I worked in investment sales and first learned about start ups and entrepreneurs. As one of the first staff hired to help start a local search digital media directory arm of Yahoo! selling online advertising which was quickly acquired by News Ltd for an apparent $18million after 18 months! Following that success I worked at News Digital and 9MSN at two of their start up subsidiaries in new business development and account management, working on some of the largest digital advertising accounts such as GIO and Budget Car Rental. I gained experience in performance media identifying where companies could increase the ROI from their investment in digital by managing media channel optimisation. Alongside my experience in helping clients with online engagement and performance media channel management, as a social scientist I began studying future predictions and internet movements in the political, ethical, social and legal regulations fields in order to understand how and why certain technologies evolve and others fail to take off and the direction in which digital movements were happening. I founded a multi channel digital creative agency in early 2012 providing end to end digital solutions, strategy, communications and online engagement for a variety of clients. The company has now expanded to a performance media organisation, utilising the best data analytic performance media platforms to optimise and improve client media campaigns. There is nothing more exciting or dramatic as pulling together a new team of expert resources to work together to achieve each new project or campaign objective. Each person is so passionate about what they do, it can become a collective fireball of energy.
