Tourism Tasmania is looking for an Assistant Paid Media Manager, who will work within a high achieving Brand Marketing Team.  This role will make a key contribution to the achievement of our brand strategy and strengthen our stakeholder partnerships so we can continue to market the brand of Tasmania uniquely and creatively across all paid media channels, including digital and interactive.

You will support the delivery of our paid media campaigns through collaboration with our media agency to ensure these are delivered efficiently and effectively and optimised throughout the consumer journey.  Staying abreast of new trends and insights will allow you to identify opportunities to achieve brand objectives across all media channels, ensuring a bespoke approach aligned to maximum impact.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the planning and execution of the paid media components of partner marketing activity.
  • Coordinating the delivery of the paid media components of integrated brand marketing communications that builds our brand meaning and continues to differentiate Tasmania to our international, interstate, and intra-state markets.
  • Ensuring paid media activity is delivered effectively and efficiently through close collaboration with our media agency and cross functional team members, reflecting a return on investment and support the achievement of our brand strategy and objectives.

 

What you’ll work on:

  • Manage the planning and execution of the paid media components of partner marketing activity, eg. partnerships with distribution partners, airlines, brand partners, and other partners.
  • Collaborate with relevant cross-functional teams for successful paid media integration across all channels. Ensure successful project management of paid media plans, including timelines, budget, stakeholder communication, measurement and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with Tourism Tasmania’s media agency, creative agencies and other Brand team members to deliver paid media activity on time, on budget, and to specifications. Foster collaborative working relationships with our agencies and contribute to the management of the day-to-day requirements of the media agency contract to ensure compliance and value.
  • Collaborate with the Paid Media Manager, the Paid Media Coordinator, and the Digital & Interactive Marketing team to ensure all paid brand activity in digital channels is planned and implemented efficiently and effectively, and optimised based on the consumer journey and performance insights.
  • Monitor media performance and investment to optimise paid media plans for high performance across the consumer journey, driving action amongst the intended audiences.
  • Stay abreast of trends and insights in paid media and identify new opportunities relevant to the brand and our marketing objectives including the identification of bespoke or niche brand aligned channels.
