X-Factor Contestant Plunges Backwards Offstage Midway Through Song

A contestant on Britain’s X-Factor scored a perfect “10” for fail when he managed to tumble backwards off stage during his performance.

Twenty-year-old Tommy Ludford was performing an original number called Dipping Biscuits for the Boys on Sunday night’s episode when he misjudged his step and came a cropper.

Shocked judges including Louis Tomlinson, Simon Cowell and Robbie Williams looked on in horror at Ludford’s misfortune.

Host Dermot O’Leary and floor staff ran onto the set to check that Ludford was okay.

After some tense moments, Ludford stood up, waved to the crowd and declared, “I’m all right!”

Viewers then took to social media to express their amusement at Ludford’s mishap, with some even accusing him of staging the stunt to gain extra support. Check out the comments below:
