WPP’s Kantar Names Jon Foged As New Aussie CEO

WPP AUNZ has announced that the appointment of Jon Foged as CEO of Kantar for Australia.

Effective immediately, Foged will take the helm of the Kantar’s local businesses, Kantar Millward Brown and Kantar TNS.

Foged relocates permanently from Singapore, where he was the chief strategy and business development officer for the market research group across the Asia Pacific, and CEO of Kantar Cambodia and Myanmar.

The appointment follows months of Foged working locally to help manage the Australian business through a period of transition.

“For the last five months Jon has been caretaking the leadership of Kantar Australia with great success,” WPP AUNZ chief executive Mike Connaghan said.

“He is a seasoned CEO with a proven track record, and is both very people-oriented and client-driven. He will no doubt continue the legacy of success that the Kantar Group has achieved in this market.

“We welcome him to the WPP AUNZ group and look forward to him leading the Kantar business through its next phase of growth.”

Foged replaces Tania Kullmann, who has decided to take a sabbatical to focus on her family.

“We have a very strong desire to continue working with Tania,” Connaghan said.

“We highly value the kind of talent that she has brought to our business, and we will be exploring opportunities that will allow us to benefit from her wisdom and leadership on an ongoing basis.

“She leaves the organisation in great shape and we are grateful for her ongoing commitment.”
