Attention, adland: We have a new frontrunner in our annual B&T 30 Under 30 People’s Choice Award contest, and by “frontrunner” we actually mean proverbial “dominator”.

After placing equal-fifth on 176 votes last week, OMD Australia’s Onam Khatri has practically run away with the lead with a whopping 2126 votes tallied. Onam must be a political orator the likes of Churchill or Bob Hawke.

NameVotes (So Far)
1. Onam Khatri – OMD Australia2,126
2. Eugenia Yeung – Reprise878
3. Neil Sura – Octagon663
4. Soujanya Datta – Finder587
5. Sasha Smith – Howatson+Company399
6. Hayden Micallef – Foxtel Media395
7. Payton Gregor – Coordinate378
8. Joanna Szkurat – Zenith Media340
9. Maddie Basso – Captify282
10. Tiff Ng – Social Story267

As you can see above, Onam has left runner-up, Eugenia Yeung of Reprise, in her dust.

That said, Eugenia has still tallied an impressive 878 votes, having previously placed ninth with 133 votes just last week.

After securing top spot in last week’s count, Octagon’s Neil Sura has slightly dipped to third place with a more-than-respectable 663 votes.

However, it’s Finder’s Soujanya Datta who we’ve all got our eyes on. Having not placed in last week’s top ten, the senior producer whizkid has surged into fourth place with an eye-opening 587 votes, just ahead of other newcomer, Sasha Smith of Howatson+Company, who notched 399 votes.

As you can see, folks, anything can happen. In just a week, Onam Khatri scored a baffling near-2000 votes. And while she maintains a comfortable lead at the top, that doesn’t mean you can’t turn things around in a flash either!

So, are you keen to see yourself or one of your workmates up there? Don’t wait, because there’s only two weeks remaining for you to vote.

You can VOTE HERE for as many people as you like, but remember, you can only vote in the poll once before your opportunity closes. And voting closes Monday, March 7. So giddy-up, buttercup!
